Well,
Well,
Today my wife & I went to the beach @ IOP in Charleston, SC and saw this guy making a true piece of art with sand. He had gotten there in the morning and had dug 2 holes, each about 5 feet deep, 3 feet wide, & 4 feet long. According to the artist he said each hole took about 30 mins to dig and that he had been there all day and when we left the sand castle wasn't even completed ! I have never seen such a stable sand castle using the sand at that beach, but the wet sand there is very hard, which is what the internal of this castle's structure was using with dry sand on the exterior walls. As you can see in the pictures he is using a spade to cut into the walls of the castle to make them look like brick on 2 sides and various other small cutting tools to design a flowing pattern on the other 2 walls of the castle. When my wife & I left he was still going to cut two other stairwells and other doorways into the walls of this piece of art.
